Aims:
The currently performed countermeasure for orthostatic intolerance, fluid loading, has been shown to improve a Cardiac stress index, but does not completely restore plasma volume. This study will seek to validate countermeasures (currently under investigation on ground subjects) by adding a carbohydrate supplement to (or possibly before) the fluid load.
