Aims:
1. Derive mission-specific factors that differentiate future DRMs from current mission capabilities, and establish the criteria for a terrestrial baseline for HCI performance based on available mission-specific factors, HCI Risk Contributing Factors, and Human Rating Requirement (NPR 8705.2B). Determine which aspects of HCI risk factors have the greatest impact on spaceflight decrement. Develop a Roadmap Table template.
2. Perform data acquisition and mining to quantify the ground-based baseline against which spaceflight outcomes will be compared. Perform data acquisition and mining to identify current HCI performance levels during missions. Assess ground vs. flight performance delta with respect to the Human Rating Requirement to determine acceptable risk levels and target HCI performance
3. Populate Human Performance Database with the mined data and construct final Research Roadmap for HCI risk tracking/planning.
4. Present proposal to the HSRB for an acceptable level of Risk of Inadequate HCI Performance for Exploration missions
Integration/Unique Aspects:
SHFE-HCI-01, 02, 03, 04, 05, and 06 will provide data to complete this task.
