Aims:
Mentored a PhD student as he complete this test for his PhD project from Harvard-MIT, Division of Healthy Sciences and Technology (HST) Bioastronautics PhD program.

Applied a newly available, commercial ELISA test for sclerostin, a suppressor of bone formation, to surplus stores of serum obtained from human subjects of the flight analog project.

Integration/Unique Aspects: The results of this analysis added to the PhD dissertation research which previously evaluated sclerostin gene expression in an osteocyte cell line and in ex-vivo mouse calvaria explants cultured in rotating wall vessels, in addition to in vivo expression in an animal model of hind limb elevation.
