Aim 1: Determine structural and gene expression changes in cortical and cancellous bone in

growing rats (3 month old) during long-duration simulated microgravity exposure and recovery.

in males compared to females (3 month old).

: Determine age effects (9 mo old) on temporal changes in skeletal structure and gene
