Aims:
Work will task place with a sample of Department of Defense personnel engaged in training for operational missions. NASA will collaborate with DoD study collaborators to translate the Expeditionary Skills model for the DoD context, and create a questionnaire to allow self-report and observations of relevant behaviors while in training exercises and/or conducting ops. Final phase of this work will require the translation of measures and models from DoD population to astronaut population, and refinement of Standards, training, and countermeasure recommendations related to the spaceflight context.
Aims:
1. Create validated model of Expeditionary Skills with data from teams in the DoD (e.g., Army War College).
2. Create questionnaire of Expeditionary Skills to be used in observations and self-report by expeditionary teams.
3. Inform Standards for training Expeditionary Skills.
