Aims:
(1) Develop an autonomous integrated countermeasure suite that mitigates decrements in sensorimotor, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and psychological performance. This suite will be based on down-selecting from prior ground and flight countermeasure research and will focus on interventions that can be implemented during a post-flight Mars simulation following a long-duration ISS mission. This down-select will be based on countermeasures that can be self-administered based on informatics tools available to the crewmember. The tools must be compatible with the resource constraints for lunar and Mars design reference missions. (2) Characterize how these treatments enhance post-flight recovery to baseline performance levels.
