Aims:
  1. A study of the molecular spectrum of radiation induced lesions in the Hprt locus following a tandem exposure to a low adaptive dose of radiation followed by a high dose coupled with amifostine treatment to see its effects on Hprt spectrum of lesions;
  2. A study of repetitive DNA changes (“dynamic mutations”) in archived lymphoid cancer tissues from mice treated with low and high LET radiations in the presence or absence of phosphorothioate radioprotector amifostine and a comparison of these data with results obtained from control animals with spontaneous lymphoid cancers.
