Aims:
- To perform a retrospective analysis of JAXA auscultation recordings collected using an electronic stethoscope in flight aboard the ISS
- To determine if the electronic stethoscope provides diagnostic quality recordings in a flight environment
Category:
Risk Characterization, Quantification
Subcategory:
Evidence or Risk Characterization
Description:
The deliverable is a final report outlining the findings of the retrospective analysis of the JAXA auscultation data. This task contributes to the closure of Gap Med13 by determining whether a commercially-available electronic stethoscope provides sufficient auscultation clarity for exploration missions, assuming exploration spacecraft have a noise environment similar to ISS in terms of spectral distribution and intensity.
