Description:
HRP
delivered the Advanced Twin Lifting and Aerobic System (ATLAS) exercise device
for consideration during the down-select. Recommendations and
analysis were provided by an independent committee that was formed to evaluate
ATLAS and an ESA-developed device (E4D).
ATLAS was not selected therefore the project was closed out following an internal contractor-led CDR.
The ATLAS Engineering Design Unit will be delivered for use in the Russian NEK analog facility. Lessons learned from that use could be incorporated in future designs.
