Aims:

Aim 1.  To determine effects of radiation quality, dose, and dose rate on genomic instability in bystander cells, as measured by use of low-fidelity repair pathways.


Aim 2
. To determine the non-targeted effect signaling mechanism, with a focus on exosomes and secreted soluble proteins as candidates.


Aim 3
. To investigate the exact mechanism by which non-targeted effect signaling produces genome instability in bystander cells.
