Aims:
This investigation is part of a complement of studies evaluating physiological, behavioral, and performance changes related to artificial gravity.
Aim 1: Investigate the effects of Head Down Bed Rest (HDBR) with and without artificial gravity
on gray and white matter volume, subcortical volume, myelination, functional
connectivity and task related brain activation.
Aim 2: Investigate the effects of HDBR with and without artificial gravity
on cognitive performance.
Aim 3: Investigate the effects of HDBR with and without artificial gravity
on biochemical markers of stress and neuroplasticity.
