Aims:
Develop and test
potential sensory augmentation countermeasures to mitigate sensorimotor
deficits following G-transitions to improve crew egress, EVA and recovery to
the new gravitoinertial state. This sensory augmentation can include providing
sensory supplementation feedback from external sensors (e.g., vibrotactile
during locomotion or heads-up displays during EVA), or enhancing gain
adjustments with direct sensory stimulation (e.g., stochastic resonance or
tactile compression).

Description:
This task will contribute to gap closure by identifying how sensory
augmentation countermeasures can mitigate functional impairments similar to
those observed following G-transitions.
